Cookies and how we use them

This policy describes how KAPITEL D uses cookies and cookie-like files and other technologies on our website. We refer to all these technologies as “cookies”.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. The next time you visit the website, your browser reads the cookie and forwards the information to the website or the item that originally set the cookie.

For more information, visit the website allaboutcookies.org.

Why and how do we use cookies?

We use information for security reasons and to improve your experience on our website. The cookies we use do not store any personal data and cannot harm your computer. We want our website to be informative, personal and as user-friendly as possible, and cookies to help us achieve this goal.

Check out your options for managing cookies later in the “How to manage and delete cookies” section.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we protect your privacy when using cookies and other information.

We use the following cookies on our website:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for you to browse our website and use its features.

Performance cookies

These cookies collect information about how you use our websites, such as which pages you go to most often. This data can be used to optimize our websites and make it easier for them to navigate. These cookies do not collect information that identifies you. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymous.

Functionality cookies

These cookies allow our website to remember the choices you make when browsing. For example, we may store your language selection in a cookie. We can also remember settings such as text size, fonts, and other customizable site elements. The information these cookies collect does not personally identify you and cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics cookies are used to collect anonymous information about how visitors use our website. We use the information to create reports and to improve our website. The information collected is anonymous and includes the number of visitors to the website, which pages they have visited and where they came from. Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager, a Google Inc. product that allows companies to manage website tags through a single interface. The Google Tag Manager is a cookie-free domain that does not collect any personal data. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. We would like to draw your attention to this separately. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If the user has disabled at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Social plug-ins and widgets

We use communication tools to share links with social networks. When you click on these features, such as social media widgets or “share” buttons, the company that provides them may collect your IP address, which page you visit on our website, and place cookies when you are connected to its services. Your interactions with these features are subject to the privacy policy of the company that provides them.
